We held my grandad's wake at The Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel and it was just lovely. The hotel staff really looked after us, making sure everything was perfect. The room setup was beautiful and the food was perfect for us. It was a nice atmosphere to remember our grandad. Huge thanks to the hotel staff. Emily helped us from start to finish and made the day a lot easier - she is a real asset to the team!

It is really awesome place to get together with friends. The Bar has good selections of drink to mix with and they do nice cocktails on request. The food is really so tasty and we enjoyed a lot. I’m sure in future I will and stay here and spend some time with family.

Recently returned from this hotel and had a great weekend. We had dinner at the hotel (which was supplemented in a deal) and this was lovely food and a varied menu. The breakfast was also great. The room was basic but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. What made our stay was a lovely gentleman on reception named Admiral he was welcoming and friendly he also went above and beyond and was very knowledgeable. He really is an asset to the hotel.

Stayed for two nights on a shopping break to Bicester. Very good, welcoming and helpful reception staff. Our room was large and very comfortable. Nice to have a fridge in the room. We took our little dog and he was made welcome too. Breakfast was great, dinner was okay but absolutely fine and great value.

family meet up before christmas

Our family in sussex and birmingham met in oxford which is basically half way for a family get together before Christmas around 20 people altogether to exchange Christmas presents, etc. i found this hotel and spoke to a lovely chap called Admiral, he was so helpful and arranged everything beautifully. We arrived to find we had a room of our own with all the table decorated for Christmas. The food was lovely, tea and coffee were laid on, mulled wine and all the staff couldn’t do enough for us , we had a great time and all agreed that from now this will be our regular meeting place !! thankyou all , can’t praise you enough and once again thanks to Admiral for completely sorting everything, see you soon
